CargoX - New August monthly record - 343 908 documents in one month

CargoX finished the month of August with 343 908 documents vs 237 025 a year ago. This represents a YoY growth of 45%. Documents were down a bit month over month from 363 069 in July but growth is up to 45% vs 40% in July.

The team spent 145 500$ to buy back the tokens from holders on chain. The restocks were fully performed on Polygon via many Uniswap pools. In total the team bought back 958 785 tokens on the open market. The team also continued the regular payout of ,6$ per document. This resulted in a total payout of 1 368 484 tokens. Out of this tokens 732 673 tokens were burned for ever and 635 811 were paid to relayers for relaying the documents and their services in the ecosystem.

Total burn for the year now stands at 5 426 100 tokens in 2026 alone. The total burn since the ICO is at 27 336 940 tokens after August. This represents 2,52% of all tokens in 2026 alone or 2,8% of all tokens left at the start for the year. Total burn is now up to 12,73% of all tokens.
