Has anyone else here come across CAP?

From what I can tell, it’s a new PoW chain that’s actually doing a couple things a little differently. Blocks are landing right around a minute pretty consistently, and instead of the usual slow difficulty adjustment, it tweaks every single block. So it kind of self-corrects constantly instead of drifting off and getting weird.

The interesting part is if the network stalls out for a bit, it basically drops difficulty way down for a moment so someone can find a block. Almost like a built-in “okay somebody win this one already” mechanic. Honestly seems to be working as intended.

I myself have even hit “lottery” blocks! Even when my cpu hashrate is a fraction of even of my mining mosh pit, I still have a fair shot a a full block reward.

There was no premine or big flashy launch. It just kind of… showed up. Which is either a good sign or a bad one depending on how you look at it lol.

Just trying to spread the good word all across the wasteland!

Curious if anyone else has run into it, or if I’m just wandering the wasteland alone on this one.
